Just got back from Kona today & we loved your condo. It was quite comfortable, my parents really enjoyed themselves & my daughter wants to go back again. She was happy sleeping on the sofa (as she is at home, also).

We golfed at Makalei, which is a really cute course - great views, bird & peacocks everywhere, cool, but a bit unforgiving. Check it out if you haven't done it. We did the Beach Course yesterday & there were some pretty holes!

Everything seemed to work fine at the condo, but the toilet in the guest bath seemed a little slow, so you might want to have your cleaning person check it out. Sorry, we did break a wine glass. Weather was great - overcast w/trades, so we never needed the A/C since your unit seems to have nice air flow. Great idea to have your business cards in the unit, so we can keep it on file & pass onto friends. Thanks!

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely condo. It had all the amenities and more. I would recommend it highly. It's location was perfect for golf and restaurants. We had a great time!

Seth- thanks! I have been meaning to find the time to write you. We loved your place! It was really perfect for us- nice and quiet and, internet access. The trip itself had some complications that made it stressful personally, but it was so nice to arrive at Waikoloa and have everything be just as portrayed on the web site. I would definitely book your place again and will recommend it to my friends. My friend got in 1 round of golf ( then he got sick) and we did put over 800 miles on the rental car- The sunsets were beautiful and the weather the usual big island stuff- guess the locals refer to it as "waikiblowa"- thanks again!

We were back two days ago and were busy unpacked our clothes so I didn't write to you sooner. Thank you for renting your condo to us. We had a wonderful time stay at your place. It was well equip and located close to very things, the beach, shopping and restaurants. You even has the rice cooker for making sushi and that's a plus for us. We even hooked up your lab top and search for farmer markets on the island. It was very handy for checking out things on the island except it was a bit slow. The sleeper sofa was comfortable and my kids enjoyed sleep on it. We would highly recommend it for family with 6 people as along as they have kids. We will definitely renting it again on our next vacation to the island.

Thank you. We had a wonderful trip. The condo was perfect for my family. Very convenient and comfortable! We took the Saddle Road Drive over to Hilo this time. What a beautiful drive. We also hiked down to the black sand beach at the Pololu lookout (sp?) That was a great spot. New discoveries for this trip. I know that we will return and I hope you will have us again.

Thank you for the prompt mailing of the security deposit. Thank you also, for the use of your beautiful villa - it was just perfect. You really have thought of everything. Whenever I opened a cabinet or drawer or closet, I was pleasantly surprised to see all the little extras. I brought my own cleaning supplies (I know, that's weird) but soon found out you were well stocked in that area as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the Big Island; we were so busy, out and about all of the time, that we wished we had more leisure time to spend in the villa. We were even considering purchasing a unit, with all the new construction going on in the area, but cha-ching ... decided that with no real guarantee of a substantial return on investment, then impending college tuition in the future years for two children takes priority, for now. Also had toyed with the idea of relocating; however, again, education is a priority, so that unfortunately rules Hawaii out, from what I've gathered. It sure is paradise, though, isn't it?

Comment [Mike called me halfway through his stay and wanted to extend his time another week. Unfortunately part of that week was already rented and I could not accommodate his request.]

We stayed another week at the unit directly above yours on the third floor, and I must say your unit was far superior. The third floor unit was "professionally" managed, yet it was dirty with many fewer amenities than your unit. Your quality linens on the beds was great; high thread count with fitted sheets. Smart to have tile everywhere in the main living areas.

Comment [Scott e-mailed me one morning during his stay just to say he was working with his laptop on the lanai and the kids were playing the the second bedroom. He just had to rub it in; it made my morning.]

We just got home yesterday from the 2 week trip to the islands. Had a wonderful time - including the newly active volcanoes (the park closed the day after we were there due to the 300 earthquakes and new lava flow).

We enjoyed all the islands (Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island) but I enjoyed the Big Island most. Less crowded, more diverse things to do, and quite a contrast with all the lava reaching to the blue sea. And especially, your condo. It was truly wonderful. We had a nice condo at Grand Champions on Maui, and stayed at the Royal Hawaiian (the Pink Palace) on Waikiki which treated us well, but neither of these compared to the relaxation and comfort that your condo provided us. Lura, Christopher (10), Thomas (6), and myself would like to send our appreciation and thanks for allowing us to stay there.

The amenities - pool, barbecue, wireless internet, movies, stereo and the peacefulness of the lanai were just great - and even though I had my laptop for work, sitting on the lanai early in the morning was much better than being at the office.

So again, thank you. When we can arrange for the next visit, you can be assured I will be contacting you.

Seth, we can't thank you enough. Your condo was elegant, PERFECT location, no steps, the bed was so comfortable truely the ideal condo. You were so friendly to deal with, and you made sure every detail was the very best of the best and we ended up with a perfect island vacation. Hope to rent from you again. Mahola Evelyn and Del

Seth, What a great unit you have. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai every morning having our coffee and watching the birds try and build a nest. The 3 weeks went by too fast as always. The turtles at "A" beach, the boogie boarding at Hapuna and the golf were all wonderful. We enjoyed our long walks and watching the sunsets. Thanks for the opportunity to let us rent your home away from home. Soon I hope we will have our own unit to visit.

Aloha Seth, just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your condo. We always stay at a condo on vacations and yours was the top of the reviews. I have never seen a condo with so much to offer. From the Hawaii books to all the cd's.

The kitchen was all set up for cooking. We only cooked one evening as my daughter says that we are not supposed to cook on vacation. We had a very enjoyable time on the island. We were on the go the full time. Went to "A" bay a few times. The last time there were four turtles on the sand which was really neat to see. Did all the tourist things. Went kayaking, snorkeling, sailing, went on an all day tour of the island. Spent some of the evenings in Kona. Went on the submarine one morning. Took the tour of the coffee plantations and the place of refuse. Ate at Merrimans, Macaroni grill and had a couple of breakfasts at Kings Grill. The winds were real bad the first four days. They just about blew you over.

We did as you said about the day of departure. We washed all the linens and towels and left the kitchen clean. The maid came about 10:30 and I explained to her what we did to help her out. I have some friends who are thinking about going to Kona later this year. I will recommend your place to them. You asked about how we liked the Hilton as we stayed there for three nights.

It is a nice place but over rated. All the middle class folks restaurants close at 7PM which is crazy as a lot of folks go to dinner about that time. We had to go outside the hotel to eat a couple of times. They get $27.00 for a so so breakfast.

Aloha Seth--it was really a great stay!

My friend Jeff found the most fun mountain biking (and I found the most interesting hiking) to be in the jungle-like paths at Kolopa State Rec Area/Hamakua Forest Reserve near Honokaa. We also visited Volcanoes Nat'l Park, Mauna Kea, and hit many of the beaches in the area. Our favorite beach was Malakawena (oops--misspelled as Makalawani in the reviews I just submitted--feel free to correct or if you can't I will). The Big Island Revealed guidebook was indeed the finest guidebook I've found for anywhere to date.
