Digital "set-back" thermostats up-stairs and main level 16 Phone outlets (all wiring is home-run from mechanical room) 14 Cable TV outlets (all wiring is home-run from mechanical room) Telephone and CATV cables are each brought down from the street inside 1 & ½" PVC conduits. These cables can be changed or upgraded without trenching for new cables. (we did this recently to bring more phone lines and broad band cables to the house)
