From the intersection of Arendell and North 35th Street, that is the intersection where the front of the hospital is on one corner and KFC is across N. 35th Street from the hospital. Turn north on 35th Street and cross Bridges Street passing the US Post Office on your left. Continue on N 35th Street for approximately half of a mile and we are in the colonial building with the dark green roof on the left. We are between the Day Care Center & The Sports Center.  There are 2 palm trees at the entrance.  Below is a picture of our office.

Office Information

Our main office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:30PM.

Our phones are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have a call of an urgent nature and the office is closed, please call our answering service. Their number is 252-808-6012. They will notify the physician on call who will call you back within 30 minutes. Only use this number after 4:30pm on weekdays and all weekend. If the situation is life threatening, or possibly life threatening, please proceed to the nearest emergency room or call 911.

Please call your pharmacist when you need a refill on a prescription. Your pharmacist will then call us for approval on your medication. Please allow 24 hours for refills. If it is an emergency, and you are out of medication, please let the pharmacist know.

Laboratory results are usually available within 10 working days. We will contact you with your lab results when the reports are compiled. If you have not heard from us after the 10 days, please call and leave word that you need your results. A medical assistant will return your call.

If timing is critical to your schedule, please let us know. We will make every effort to expedite your care. In order to make the doctor's scheduling available for other patients, we require 48 hours notice if you cannot keep your appointment.

Payment of your portion of the physician's fees is expected at the end of each office visit.  If you need to make payment arrangements, please let the check-out desk know.

When another doctor, institution or agency requests your records, we require a signed authorization from you.  Bring any pertinent medical records with you at your office visit.

After calling 252-222-5700 you may enter the extension of the person you want to speak with.  If you do not know the extension, please follow the directions of the automated attendant.

When you have an appointment at our office, please bring 

1. all prescription medications,

2. insurance information, 

3. Glucose meter and/or blood sugar reports

4. copies of any recent lab work,  

5. x-rays, and 

6. other pertinent medical records with you to your appointment.
