E-mail Policy

E-mail communications between Dr. Lucas and her patients are available for the patient's convenience.  It is possible to receive and immediate response, however, please allow a minimum of 24 hours for a response. 

E-mail is not to be used for TIME-SENSITIVE INSTRUCTIONS OR QUESTIONS.   If this is an emergency, dial 911!

You should also be aware that we cannot insure the privacy of e-mail communications.  You should use discretion when sending sensitive and private information via e-mail.  See BeachDoctor.com Privacy Policy. 

It is our policy to only respond to e-mail from patients who have been previously examined and treated, and are current patients, of Dr. Lucas and Diabetes & Endocrinology Consultants, PC  See what the legal guys have to say about that. 

Normally e-mail communications are provided as a free service to patients.  However, if significant time and resources are expended on your behalf, it is possible for e-mail responses to be billed to the patient's account according to the time allocated by the physician.
